About The Rose of Lancaster

The Rose of Lancaster is situated on the Rochdale canal overlooking open countryside. We pride ourselves on being at the heart of JW Lees brewing country.

Our pub has recently undergone a refurbishment, The Rose is split into a local vault with sky TV and a contrasting lounge and restaurant with panoramic views. The outside covered patio is popular during the summer months, whilst in the winter our roaring log fire will keep you cosy on the coldest of days. Our friendly staffing team and cheerful clientele always offer the warmest of welcomes, guaranteeing a convivial visit.

The Rose attracts locals, families, walkers and canal enthusiasts, serving high quality ales as recommended in the CAMRA good beer guide and serves delicious homemade food and fine wines from around the world.
